Care and Cleaning....

The ultra plush interior is easily maintained with a quick vacuum or a dip in the washing machine. All other components can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

1. Your order will be shipped from the manufacturers warehouse within 2 business days of your order. All Sleepypod products are shipped via UPS standard ground service.

2. In the unlikely event that the item you order is not in stock, we will inform you via return email as soon as possible about the status of your order. If you desire, we will ship your order as soon as stock is reinstated. If you do not want to wait for your out of stock item please advise and we will cancel that portion of your order.

3. Returns are allowed within 60 days if product is unused in the original packaging and returned prepaid. There is a restocking fee of 15% on items returned for reasons other than manufacturers defect. Defects must be reported within 3 days of receipt to qualify for waived restocking fee. 4. All Sleepypod products have a limited 5 year warranty by the manufacturer. You must keep your receipt.

Getting started

Allow your pet to play and sleep around and in Sleepypod for at least a week before using it as a carrier.
Try it with the top off first and then with it on. With the top on, tuck the vertical support frames under the angled ones to create a large top opening. Most pets enjoy the top on for more privacy but see which way your pet prefers.
Toys and treats can be placed in and around the bed to encourage use.
As your pet becomes more comfortable with Sleepypod, zip him/her up inside and go for a quick walk around the room while encouraging him/her verbally. Put Sleepypod back down and open top to allow him to come out as he/she likes.

After a few test runs and many naps in the Sleepypod, your pet should be ready to go out in it and enjoy the trip.
The more positive associations your pet creates with Sleepypod, the more he/she will enjoy traveling in it.

Warmer (Sold Separately)

The 6.5W warmer is designed to maintain a temperature at around 102°F when your pet is in Sleepypod. It might not feel warm to the touch when your pet is not in it.
To test the warmer, install it under the bedding, place a rolled up bath towel on it to simulate a pet, wait 15 minutes, and feel the warmth under the rolled towel.
For safety reasons, the warmer will not work unless it is properly installed in between the Ultra Plush bedding and the foam liner. It will not heat up properly outside of the Sleepypod. Read safety information printed on warmer before use.
The UL approved adapter with quick disconnect cord is rated for 100-240 volts, 50-60 Hz.
When not using the warmer, simply remove it from your Sleepypod or tuck the connector inside the bedding to prevent your pet from chewing on the cord.

Securing Sleepypod in a car seat

To safely transport your pet in the car, simply wrap the seat belt around the middle of your Sleepypod base, buckle the seat belt and pull the shoulder belt through the top handle.
Tighten up any slack in the seatbelt and recheck belt position.
Make sure the top is zipped closed to keep your pet safely inside.
